I visited Lalbagh last month with my family, and I am sharing the exact details from my experience.

Landmark: Right opposite to Lalbagh Main Road, near Siddapura and close to Lalbagh Metro Station. If you are coming from MG Road, Lalbagh will be on your left side just after the Lalbagh West Gate traffic signal.
Many people search for Lalbagh Botanical Garden address, but this is the address of the Main Gate (Gate No. 1). This is the best gate to enter if you want to see the famous Glass House first.

Which Gate Should You Choose? – 4 Gates Explained
This is the most important part which no other website explains properly. Lalbagh has 4 gates and choosing the wrong gate will waste your 30 minutes of walking.
1. Main Gate (Gate No. 1) – Mavalli Gate: This is the most popular gate. Address mentioned above is of this gate. Best for first-time visitors. Glass House is just 200 meters from here. Auto and cabs will drop you here.
2. West Gate (Gate No. 2) – Siddapura Side: This is near Basavanagudi. If you are coming from Gandhi Bazaar or VV Puram side, enter from here. Parking is better here.
3. South Gate (Gate No. 3) – Jayanagar Side: If you are coming from Jayanagar 2nd Block, this gate is nearest. Close to Lalbagh Lake.
4. North-East Gate (Gate No. 4) – Double Road Side: This gate is near the Chamarajpet area and is least crowded in the morning.
My Suggestion: If you are coming by Metro, get down at Lalbagh Metro Station and take the West Gate. It’s only a 5-minute walk.

- By BMTC Bus: Bus No. 12, 12A, 12B, 27, 27B goes directly to Lalbagh Main Gate bus stop.
